Honda emblem (silver/grey) - These are attached with little "speed nuts" that press on over plastic posts. I reused the ones from my old broken piece by cutting the posts with a pair of snips and popping them off with a screwdriver.

New steering rack, new tie rods, new radius rod bushings, and all the plaz-tek put back together. Went out to the ATV park today and beat the old girl like a trailer park sugar daddy. Got the seal of approval from my co-pilot!:

Y'all did an awesome job on that. Beats the s*** out of ratchet straps, a winch, 27 beers, and a BFH!

Haven’t done much to the Talon in a bit. Haven’t done a proper overland trip with the Talon yet so I wanted more Packout space in the passenger seat for our overland adventure for the M.O.M. Ride. Thought up all sorts of different things… Weld up aluminum frame, make extensions and mounts, plywood, blah blah blah

Drank a couple beers and came up with this:

2 hose clamps
1 plastic packout plate (have to punch the steel inserts out on the outer edges and drill the hole out to 1/2”)
Ratchet strap to keep the front of the plate from bouncing up and down. I picked up a paracord cam lock to try too. I can grab this and shake the entire buggy with no issue.

Hook the hooked ends so they grab the thick plastic floor panel drain holes. The clamps in the rear hold it really tight, just need the strap in the front to keep it from bouncing up and down. Not a lot of weight on the front even with a large packout full of junk.

Best part about this is you can pull it out and pop the seat back in in 5 minutes.

First thing I did on my 22 Pioneer was debadge all the stickers, most were crooked. Atleast you got Raised HONDA hood lettering and not just a cheap (and slightly off center) sticker.
I cannot think of any other vehicle with a Hood sticker instead of a hood ornament or emblem especially on their flagship utilty vehicle.

Yeah, I knew what I was getting into since the Pioneer bumper tubing is the same junk. It's definitely not a "bumper", more of a hood ornament.

Wow. as I continued reading I now realize the Pioneer had a magnificent hood ornament all along. LMAO😂
