I just removed my skid plate to rebuild my clutches.... but I had all the bolts in the main frame rails round the head off. I think the threads had mud on them that then got stuck in the weld nuts. Have you had a similar problem? All the new ones I welded it to my reinforced outer bars had no issue.

I've only pulled mine off twice and only had an issue with the self tappers in the side rails. I need to order the weld nuts to throw on there.

Yea I know I didn't. I did it to make the oil change easier and to clean the engine area really good. Note my home made skid plate I did not make the oil drain easy to do with out making a mess.

Went and rode Sandstone trail in Kisatchie National Forest yesterday. Really fun, tight trail. Finally killed a side view mirror on a tree at some point.

Got my BCF harness bar and Aces Racing harnesses in. I'll probably order another one of these harnesses and use them on the rear seats and go with a Dragonfire or pick up the X3 retractable for driver. Everything installed great with the exception of having to drill out the harness lap belt mounts to utilize the factory bolt since no store around me had any 7/16-20 bolts. I could have just bolted them in but it would have been just riding on the threads. The harnesses are really solid and were only $44.95 each with free shipping. I'll probably try the drivers one at Tackett and see how I like it before I splurge on the good stuff.

Don't ride with somebody that has the Can-am retractables unless you want to own a set. @JTW sold me on them after 1 ride. My wife loves them too.

Do the retractable harnesses. SO much nicer than static harnesses or seatbelts and I can confirm they work when you come to a sudden stop.

Can definitely see where they would be nice. Just finished bolting in drivers side static harness and can't reach a damn thing on the dash anymore once I'm buttoned up like I should be. Gonna give it a go at Tackett and then cruise eBay for a set once I get home. These will go on the rear seats.

When I ride I leave the shoulder belts latched together but not tightened down. When I need to shift to low or 4wd I just snug them up. When I go back to high I just loosen the shoulders up. Also I added the submarine belt. Helps keep the lap belt in position.
The handle that Cliff sales is HUGE help when in the belts!
P.S. At 6' 4"+ I can reach everything while snuggly belted . 😆

Yeah, yeah.... I can reach the gear selector but not the drive mode at 5'10".

Got my driver's side quick connects in and went through my tool box. Had 3 sets of sockets in there 🙄... Lot lighter now! New winch rope tomorrow

OMG , I’m so glad I didn’t have a daughter. I could never leave this angel alone. And I’m not creepy. I will never, never understand what it’s like to have a little girl. And I’m glad for that I think 🤔, I worry to much about my 2 boys . God bless you sir!
