I noticed one of mine was gone on the Honda
I had 3 yellow ones, all of them wobbled loose and disappeared. Hopefully not anymore. Went to pull the bumper to put my new winch line in and 3 of the 6 bolts f***ing broke off...... Broke 6 drill bits so far, hopefully number 7 is lucky

I have to do the same soon....pulled the rope out.of the spool Saturday. My bumper was tweaked when i put it on so it should be real fun to do.

Well I broke every small drill bit I own trying to get that lower bumper mount bolt out. Going to have to bust out the big guns tomorrow. Tried all my EZ Outs, reverse drill bits, Dremel, etc. Couldn't get it to give. Was able to break 3 or 4 threads off after giving it hell for a bit with a drill but it is still hanging up on the bumper when I try to pull it out.

Grind the welds off the nut and weld on a new nut. I broke that nut off my 2016 the third or 4th time I removed the bumper.

Man I know that feeling. I replaced all mine with thicker grade 8 bolts. I spent a good 4 hrs with those busted suckers. Best of luck to you buddy.

My issue is the lower one. I am going to drill out those uppers and replace with larger bolts/nuts like you mentioned. The lower looks to have been tweaked by the winch mount and is all sorts of f***ed up in the threads.

Pretty sure the lower is a M8 bolt with a welded nut. The uppers are m6

One of my uppers was seized in the welded nut and broke. Luckily it broke short enough I could pull it out with some special angry words and proper application of force.

Cut it off with extra long sawzall blade.

On the bottom one where you can get to it weld a fender washer on to the twisted off bolt and a nut to the washer should come right out
