I use my electric vest and pants from my Harley. They work great and are not bulky. Have not had a problem taxing the electrical system on the Can Am but we will see with the Honda. I doubt it will be a problem. The P500 puts out about as much as a Harley stator.

I was watching that! Lol. We had light flurries through the night and snow on car windows with a little ice! But 15" would have made for a snow day and an opportunity for my first snow ride. I would have been like a kid on Christmas!:)
Woke up to this this morning

Looks like I'm not the only one getting ready for winter.

I'm just hoping I don't blow a fuse.

I just realized and want to ask you to test it right away after you start P500, if its on and you can not shift well or it suffocates then no go.
I bought last year portable fan heater defroster and it sucks way too much electricity.

Works good. It has a wind resistant screen. It's called Mr.Heater golf cart heater. It comes with a cup holder for the golf carts. I made a bracket and bolted down.

could you please share your bracket design? I've got mine today, need to mount it well too.

So you installed an aquahot heater, but you still need the golf cart heater?

Yes , propane golf cart will be used in two occasions:
1. when the engine is off , we are waiting in p500 for the game to come out. I feel safe not to drive with it bouncing around and burning my right shoulder .

2. To warm arm p500 cab and defrost in the am

I also planning to install thermostat bypass to improve start and efficiency of my aquahot heater.

He made mention of without doors it wasn't enough but I thought he had doors.
Just to clarify the confusion.

1 . I replied to another member that he does not need heater if the winter is mild and he is not planning on installing doors.

2. In my case when we get minus 40-50, aquhotheater is ok, after about 30 mins ride but p500 lacks small bypass circuit like 700 and 1000 have and fresh heat comes only when thermostat opens in p500.

So for now solution is get propane golf cart heater and use it to warm up cab before ride or when the engine is off and I need comfortable temp in my cab.

Later this fall I will work on bypass vavle that would be very good must add on for those who are planing on liquid engine fed heaters , that would give instant and better heat
