P1000 AM/FM iPod for riding?

I know some people use iPods to listen to music while riding. Do they make something like an iPod that instead is just an AM/FM radio? Something pocket sized that you can use with ear buds?

My s7 Samsung has FM tuner in it there is an app called next radio that needs no data to work . It uses any thing plugged in head phone jack as antenna

Like BWAF said in the post above, iPod also uses the earbuds as an antenna. You might check Amazon or eBay and see if someone makes an actual external antenna for it.

I have an am/fm from Best Buy that uses the aux cord as antenna. Worked fair...

I don't think so either, if it does I have not found it in two years of having one. I do listen to Heart radio on it though, but uses data.

Good to know. Would any of the round weather proof dash mount radios have a headphone jack? Or do they only work with speakers? Jensen is the only brand that comes to mind that makes one.
