I put my door in a couple of days ago. I used the same 2 orange boxes u did plus 1 bigger metal ammo can from rural king. Still got room for a couple of small dry bags on top of the orange boxes. Had trim A slot in the door frame to get the bigger box in.

What size is the metal ammo can?

Did you add anything to the bottom of the storage area to hold everything?

Might I ask why you are using two different kind (plastic and metal)?
That was the only combo I could make fit. U could fit 2 metal. I've not done the math on which way u actually have more storage but I liked the 3 boxes better. I put 4 ponchos in dry bags and cram them on top and around boxes. Keeps everything tight.

I hate to say it but I didn't get any. We rode pretty much non stop for about 7 hours. Usually my co-pilot takes tons of pics, but she had to work yesterday.

I will say this, I just thought the P1000 was capable before. After adding the Arms and 30s, I'm thoroughly impressed. I followed 2 new X2 Wolverines, 1 of which is the new X-TR package. Places where they would struggle, I had no trouble whatsoever.
Did you notice your rears rubbing on that ride? Trying not to add the rear SATV arms just yet....

I dont recall having any trouble with rubbing before the rear arms. I do have a small spacer lift but they should still work fine.
Cool, I can throw a little more preload in if I need to until I can get around to picking up the rears. Thanks brother

Just a heads up, those plastic orange boxes had a little water in the from a 70 mile ride last sunday. They must flex a little when moving and let a little water in. It wasn't much but it should be zero. I'm gonna try 2 big metal boxes next. I'm gonna put my first aid kit in a dry bag and 3 ponchos in small dry bags to take up the dead space. My metal box had zero water in it.

Good feedback. I'm gonna use them for now but if I have any trouble I'll definitely use the metal ones.

My rear always rubs on the seat on a ride? Get the backs, makes negotiating obstacles same as front.

Giant box awaiting me when I got in from work. Looks like it's time to retire the aluminum skid and try some plastic.
