Has anyone modified their bed to tilt up higher for doing maintenance? It sure would be nice to have it go higher to get at it easier.
I mean just to check the air filter you practically have to stand on your head and spit nickels to do it

I now realize that those of you with the 5s can tilt your bed, and then open rear doors to have clear access.
Four screws will remove the bedside on the 3s . Just wish it was a lil easier

Removed the rubber bumpers on bed hinge and gained considerable working room.
Will put them back in for dump duty.

My Yamaha X2 is the same way.

I Just recently changed the spark plugs.

It was easier to kneel on the front drivers seat and reach over the roll cage than to try and work under the bed.

There only in place to keep the bed from hitting the muffler guard.
Actually the gas cylinder tops out before the bed hits. I may even see if i can modify the mount and get even more angle. Its about 50° without bumpers.

I’m 6’5” and will report when I service mine next week. I suspect I will adapt and overcome.
