I am pretty shocked geico covered it too. I had some water damage on my camper which was covered through them and they denied the claim, said it was normal wear and tear/lack of maintenance. It was a leaking seal in the front bunk, not sure how you maintain that as you cant even see a problem until the wood starts rotting... Prob will cancel my camper insurance with them, still have my cars there though, until they deny another legitimate claim.
Can not go wrong with USAA for all the Vets on here and members with Vet family members. They are great to deal with all the way around

I didn't put this up to show who didn't contribute! Because the initials are their first and last name you really wouldn't know because we use forum names!
I'm happy that insurance is helping CP, but...as we know insurance helps but does not take care of all costs. What actually happened is the target we were shooting for in helping is lower. Come on guys we can do better:)

Lol @Stauvo,
It's not about who did and who didn't. It's about helping CP get back on the trail.

In regards to the lottery post . Let's open the window of donors up until 10pm est today.

Everyone came to help:) the women are doing oil changes. Saddening to see the "bye-bye-side" coming apart,it was a little boy that named it so don't give me too much hell:) But everyone in our group is here doing all they can we all want back up. Still amazes me how this and the 700 changed things for everyone there were even a few tears shed. First steps toward the trails! Have to get everything out because we won't be getting anything for accessories and tow truck comes for her Monday. Got good money from our generator and everyone that comes up with us have done all the can.if everything keeps up I think we may be able finish the deal on the white one on Tuesday. So it'll make my wife's birthday weekend on the 18th! Relplaced the stolen chainsaw, not great but it'll do. Been doing paintwork for a local Yamaha dealer to make credit towards parts and labor for the broken Polaris so I've been busy. My wife said we can't go up without stereo and at least a lightbar hooked back up...we'll see but things are coming together:):):) just wanted to update progress
I love that your wife wants the stereo and lights hooked up! I hate that you are having to sell your tools to get back on the trails!

Thanks for sharing the pictures to take us on the journey with you! I can't believe how fast it's coming apart.

Lol! No I know it may have sounded petty, I am not really like that in real life. I was just so exited to help a friend i never met. Thank you for posting as i really thought it went through a few days ago. I realize when we cannot hear each other writing our rants it can look like something different. I meant it in a loving way and did not mean to sound simple. I sure hope to meet all you some day indeed. Go CP!!!

Wife is a lot like me. On our first sxs we didn't worry about as much but the more we did well you know. Anymore when I think about something she's always on board. As long as it's camping related I can get by with anything. If I ever asked for a sports car she'd kick my ass. Tools are replaceable. Understand I'm not complaining about that I'm actually excited because that helped a bunch! I had 3 guys trying to come over within 20 minutes but then again guess why it's a Honda! I know many of the people here feel the same way we do about the Pioneer it's whatever it takes. It's really become the vehicle around camp yet we were all dirt bike people. Can't imagine going without it anymore simple things become difficult. So ya I was bummed sorry that came out maybe I'm too open sometimes. It's crazy to me to see all of this it truly is a blessing to have such a rally

That's why I was concerned for awhile but they came through for us. They will normally go 2000 on accessories but this was a little different. There was a huge gap between what was needed. They didn't cover everything and that's where it got sticky. They considered this weather related since it was standing water. We got lucky. They wanted to fix it but finally conceded it took a second. It's just full coverage atv. Other companies do accept a higher number for accessories however the coverage isn't as good from what my dealer said. I sure suggest them to anyone though now.
Anything that was "bolted on" that you added will be covered under insurance if you have the receipt. But the claim might need an adjuster. You should come out better or the same than you were before including all accessories and maybe labor for installation.

Ok everyone last post with the old girl and very sad about it. I meant to get a pic with all of us with it. Everyone came over today and helped. Some friends and family brought oil some beer and a little food. It was weird like we were up camping almost but in the driveway. Kinda cool. They are all pitching in for my wife's 40th birthday she said all she wants is to be back up again how cool is that:):) anyway the Pioneer is now stripped and gone and just now realized why wheelies were hard. Lots of weight! Time to move forward but man we all loved it and that was showed here today!! I guess it'll be time to start another here but this one will be slow. I'll make sure not to post picks up close its going to have a few dangling wires for awhile. Up and going is all we care about now. Sometimes a replacement isn't the same but we'll be back going shortly. Goodbye bye bye side. You were great. We'll miss you.

The new one you will build will be a lot better and take half the time because you know what you are doing. So with that being said bury the old one in the back yard next to your old pets and post pics of the new and improved ways to add accessories!

Well let's just say this we had to meet in the middle a bit on this claim. On the dollar figure it should have been fixed but there were too many variables in my mind especially with non existent parts. Since we were able to go this route I didn't push much other wise it may be sitting in the shop for awhile but possibly a very long while and motor quality poor. I did well on the 700 but not this one. With that being said they helped and without that I had very little hope. friday was good news.
