That didn't take you very long at all
The front and upper bar front are 1 5/8 fit great and 1 1/2 just a little loose on all the rest. Or just grind down 1 5/8 a bit

Thanks 1 1/4" sch 40 pipe is right at 1 5/8" will double check tonight at work and will let you guys know all the sizes and there should be plenty of meat on it to turn down to fit the back I hope HaHa

Look over the mess in my shop I have been cleaning it well moving stuff from one spot to the other some day maybe it will be clean but
we all know better HaHa

Ok guys here I go first I would like to thank all you brave ones that wave already done this and posted the pics and how you done yours
and with that said here you go went with a 4" chop just getting started I had to remove the bolts where the nets attached first to get my
cut where I wanted I started in the rear first View attachment 22937 View attachment 22938 View attachment 22939 View attachment 22940it looks like it is just under 1 5/8" going to take the piece
to work and get sleeves cut for the back will post more pics as I get farther along it was a little scary till I got the grinder out HaHa
then let the sparks fly

well I got mt sleeves done last night they ended up 1.595" but they were a little snug 09 29 16 001and so down she goes09 29 16 007I can't believe that Honda did this 09 29 16 004but I have a fix for it I think I went with 4" don't think I will go lower still thinking on that 09 29 16 006but on the 4" you do have to and to the top 09 29 16 015the silver lines was what I come up with before I done any cutting I was close off about 1/8" but that was luck HaHa but it is coming along I have to get some more sleeves machined tonight but chopping it was what it needed 09 29 16 009will post more pics as it comes along Again Thanks to all you guys help and ideas and I hope that this helps someone else that is what this forum is all about

Thanks guys. Got to put a shoulder bar in there for belts and a couple gussets to finish cage. Then its time for roof and windshield (all of which have to be hand made too of course ). More to come soon.

Looks great. I was wondering if someone was going to do something like that. I also think it would be cool to see someone get rid of the doors and bed and be full rail all the way around.


That would LOOK nice.....but wouldn't be of much help to me on the farm. I'll do some brainstorming on how to possibly make a tubular dump bed.

Got a little more done on my cage this weekend 10 02 16 004it is ready to plug weld and off again to take it to a friends to be tig welded and I come up with a fix for the area around the air box going to use the old brackets to fasten it back in the same place10 02 16 001 10 02 16 002I had to add 1 5/16" to the top bars will post more as I get more done

No bungs...........
I work at a chassis shop so i slid the new bars 3 1/2" into old bars and welded.

That is looking awesome pct! It's coming along nicely. I'm still not a fan of the chop look but gotta give mad props to y'all's handiwork.
