Cashiers Checks are you friend.^^^^
Correct but, not in the same manner they are preparing to report these purchases today. The information was stored, just not shared unless there was a reason to release the data...like a court order.
Mike
Cashiers checks are traceable.Cashiers Checks are you friend.
An ID or funding from your bank account and sometimes both depending on bank used and fees you pay.^^^^
Haven't used one in years but...do they require an ID?
Mike
Probably but mine don't say what there paying for, just amount and to who, attach the invoice to the check stub and put a hand written note the invoice # with the check. I haven't had an issue yet. But cash is King.Cashiers checks are traceable.
I buy nearly everything with cash. Amazing how people look at you nowadays when you give cash, like your a nuisance^^^^
Can't you get one at the Post office?
Perhaps, cash...is your only friend...
Mike
Not if they know you, I'm in the bank 3 to 4 times a week banking personally and for the business for 30 years, same bank, it's good to look across the counter at who you do business with and they don't charge me a dime for cc. No online banking for me. The bank is 5 blocks from the office.^^^^

Sometimes it works the other way, took my weed eater in to have something done to it that required a special tool, the guy says it'll be two weeks before we can get to it, then he looks at me and asked how are you going to pay for it and do you need a receipt, I replied cash and no, he said we just had a cancelation, bring it on back in the shop, walked out 15 minutes later. He was the owner, so I wasn't cheating any one.I buy nearly everything with cash. Amazing how people look at you nowadays when you give cash, like your a nuisance
Oh ya most blue collar types are quick to grab cash.Sometimes it works the other way, took my weed eater in to have something done to it that required a special tool, the guy says it'll be two weeks before we can get to it, then he looks at me and asked how are you going to pay for it and do you need a receipt, I replied cash and no, he said we just had a cancelation, bring it on back in the shop, walked out 15 minutes later. I've already pulled the F leaver for today! HA!Oh ya most blue collar types are quick to grab cash.
I just buy it and show my ccl pay for it and walk out?You have to register a pistol at the time of purchase anyway, so they know you have it. 🤷♂️

Yea your right, they have to protect there butts also, they always write my CCL # on the transaction. I'm not a fan of the micros, If I'm going to carry, I'll carry something I've got I've got confidence in, even if it's big and heavy, like my Ruger Security 6, 357 Mag. It shoots lights out, it's not a use the sights tool.Yeah, me too. But they absolutely have record of you buying that gun whether you use cash or credit card.
It’s not the gun purchase so much as the ammunition that bothers me.Yeah, me too. But they absolutely have record of you buying that gun whether you use cash or credit card.
