I just bought a new crew cab Ram 2500 but it’s a gas engine. I like Fords, I looked at another F250 but liked the Ram better. Three on the tree! Never drove one.
Cool, I’m sure you’ll get good service out of that truck. In my opinion, all three are going to be good trucks...👍 I wish you good luck with it.

Yeah, three on the tree....I forgot about that. 🤣

If I pulled heavier loads and more often I would have went diesel but I just don’t. Therefore I decided to go with the 6.4, so far I’ve been pretty impressed.

Starting to feel better about buying a 06 Dodge 3500 crew cab for $ 9,000, need front 4 WD axel rebuilt and AC repaired, 180,000 miles?
That truck has one of the most reliable Diesel engines you can get, that’s not a bad price.

I wouldn’t spend the extra 10K for a diesel if I didn’t need it. I think that you made a proper choice...👍

If it’s only to move your back hoe once and a while, it will do you fine I’d think...

Probably 60 miles a week, I been looking for a year for something that wasn't $ 30,000+ and DOT compliant. It could be a cream puff with a little TLC, but why, it's a work truck and the guys will have it beat to hades in a year!

Even if you rip the trans out for 9k you still got a deal. Firepunk diesel builds one of the best transmissions for a Cummins diesel. There north of 10k for a fully built one but even then your only 20k into it.

I will beef the tranny when necessary! I started when New Hauling RV's out of Indiana. It now hauls my SXS, 18ft Boat and 18ft camper. I shouldn't have any issues as It's a Daily Driver now! But, who knows!

The truck will get 3,000 to 5,000 miles of use for now on. It will be passed down as I falter and go away!
