I just bought a new crew cab Ram 2500 but it’s a gas engine. I like Fords, I looked at another F250 but liked the Ram better. Three on the tree! Never drove one.
My first truck was a 1982 F100 with three on the tree. I was 20 years old and it was my first vehicle. I didn’t get a DL until after my dad got me this truck because I had moved away to college. I learned how to drive that day on my way home. 3 hour drive of forced learning. Scary as f***!

Took a couple hour road trip with our neighbor when I was 12. He was drinking before we left and during but that wasn't uncommon back then. On the way back we were taking back roads bc he was f'd up and falling asleep at the wheel. I was keeping an eye on him and nudging him when his eyes would close. After a few of those he pulled over and asked if I knew how to drive. I said no and he said "well you're about to learn". We made it back alright and he caught his second wind, wanted to run to all kinds of places. Couple hours later I was driving in traffic at night on 5 lane city streets at 45mph.
