Lmao. That's funny. I don't plan on going deep period. Mine is just an insurance policy. It's hard sometimes to tell how deep a creek is. Especially after you get it all muddy lol.
Yeah. Same here. I'm not a fan of taking such and expensive machine in water all day. Just sucks one hole can usually ruin a whole day of riding because you can't cross.

Has anyone tried air seeded hose from Case IH? if I remember correctly it was 2" and, although difficult, can be crushed without breaking.

Interested to see what you come up with. I am leaning towards the Highlifter Kit lately, but change my mind like a woman changes clothes.

If I were to buy a kit it would be the eBay kit. Just because I like how hidden the snorkel is. And you don't lose the cup holder. Granted HL has that bracket, but it would interfere with my switch plate

Got it snorkeled after a couple hours finally.

Parts list 6 feet of hose, 6" of 11/2" pvc, 1 1 1/2" elbow, zipties, a rubber reducer 2"-1 1/2", couple hose clamps, silicone.

Put some metal tape around the hose to keep from rubbing a hole.

There was enough room to put the elbow up over the ROPS and have room to get air between the roof and the cage

The hose started compressing when I put my hand over the end. At that time I didn't have everything sealed and it was still getting air.

Over all I made it for about $30

I like this, where did you order the elbows? I would probably just use PVC pipe in the end, but I like the give the silicone connections would give when getting it put together. Did the cup holder fit the 3" pipe and coupler pretty easily? I would probably end up running mine up the roll bar some how and hope to get the angle even with the cage.

Yeah - Tot's has me re-thinking this.
Rigid PVC might be a pain to work around some the of odd angles. This is the pond hose that I'm considering.
This is only 1.5 inch ID but I think I have some 2" somewhere. It seems stronger than what Tots has but still flexible enough.
Anywhere that sells pond supplies should have it along with fittings to transition to pvc. They also have flexible PVC which is much stronger but not so good getting around corners.

@Tot those fittings are 2" so id of hose would be slightly larger than 2". The flat part is little less than 2". Probably closer to 1.75". Hope that helps.

Hey man if you have some time tomorrow would you get a video of putting your hand over the intake and focus down by the fittings.

I put my hand over mine and it killed the engine but something sounded funny to me. Also my first rig to snorkel and try to kill it like that. Thanks for the help from the get go!

I ordered some 2" black flex pvc today it's sch 40 and can be used with standard pvc fitings. I'm hoping a can heat it with heat gun to smash it like the eBay hose.

Sorry bud I just now read your post. I don't get online much during the weekend sometimes. Just work eat sleep repeat lol. I'll take a video tomorrow if you're still wanting one. Or today if I get off work early enough.

I got a short video of my fittings while putting my hand over the intake, but having hell getting it to upload to YouTube. Our high speed wifi is anything but lol. One of the perks of living in middle of nowhere. I can tell you theres nothing for you to see. Put hand over intake and engine dies. Fittings don't move and no unusual noises. There's a slight vibration noise from engine struggling to keep running. It takes some effort to remove my hand too from the vacuum. I'll keep trying man.
