If you don't mind getting a video still that'd be great! Thanks in advance
Here ya go man. Doubt it'll help much. No wierd sounds except for the suction sound escaping from my hand after motor dies lol.

It normally does quicker than that but I couldn't get a good seal at that angle trying to hold my phone still lol.

Thanks!! Mine isn't that fast because the hose collapses on itself. Once the air is out it'll die

If hose is collapsing when you do that, chances are good it'll collapse under heavy engine load. That'd be my biggest concern.

for the screen I think about 20 bucks its listed on that site for a jeep safari snorkel. The rest of the set up for the snorkel were more or less salvaged parts and the knock of snorkel head was around 25.

I agree with Delton, you nailed it. It looks really good and I love the white color.

It looks great. How heavy duty is that hose? I'd like to do this, but a lot of the times I'm out wheelin I aways push over, and run through small branches. I'm concerned the branches might rip it off.

So I've got some stuff laying around the garage, and I was wondering if this RV flexible sewer hose (new hose ) would work. It's flexible enough to run under the hood, and up through the passengers side cup holder, and from there either terminate, or continue up the Rops towards the back of the cab. Or just through the hood, and to the cab.
At this point I'm just checking out all the different ways to do this.

It's just one of those big hose clamps that has the knob on it make is easier to tighten by hand, I have put my hand over the snorkel and it sucks the hose up right till the rig stops. I never attached anything to see how long the suction would hold though. Just figured septic hoses generally are sealed well or you would get poo smell leaking out of them. Worth checking though

The tape around the house is that rescue tape seals good as well
