P1000 Engine heat during summer rides

This is my first spring/summer with my 2016 Pioneer 1000-3. I noticed that the cabin heats up from engine heat on longer rides even though the machine is staying well within operating temps. Any ideas on how to reduce heat from engine on longer rides?

I have this in both of my machines and they work good. If you have a cab enclosure, take it off during summer. Flip up windshield or no windshield is the biggest plus you can have to beat the heat

Along with what @TripleB says a switched fan blowing across the headers under the seat pretty much takes care of the rest of the heat. Before my Quick Shield I wouldn't let children ride in the passenger seat due to fear of a flash steam burn if running through water puddles. The fan can be simple or elaborate, your choice. I used a 10 inch radiator fan for a Civic and HD zip ties to mount it.

I put the quick shield and a bilge fan in mine. Copied how @bumperm did his fan. I highly recommend doing both.

I have two heat shields. The foil shield from @Bayouownbeer and the quick shield. The foil is on bottom. The quick shield is on top. I have an Amazon special 10ish inch fan under seat that I can't remember the size of from the top of my head. Works well. Unfortunately there is no 100% heat protection with any mid engine machine.

No body wants to hear it but the best way to manage the heat is to remove the microwave box situation (doors, windows, windshield etc).

Everything is a trade off, the more cab type stuff you have the more dust and heat you get. The less you have the more exposed to the elements you are, but overall cooler and less dusty. The sheild helps as well as a seat fan, but they only go so far.
