My Coyote solution. Same outfit I use for PD.

Confirmed shots at 700 yds.

Ruger MKII M77 In .223 ballistic tipped noslers pushed by Varget. Got a hair trigger.

Love this heavy gun as the scope never leaves the sight picture....ie watching the pd’s exploding.

That’s too bad.

Personally I didn’t care for them but know that quite a few people that swear by them.

I use a Mossberg Patriot Stainless in 6.5 Creedmore, Very accurate and smooth with very little recoil.

Long range setup, DPMS LR308 with a Trjicon Accupoint 2.5 x 10. Range 150 and less a Ruger Deerfield 44 mag. or a Ruger Redhawk 44 mag with 7.5 in BBL.

Honestly, I have several rifles to choose from. I pick one that I haven't hunted with in awhile or depending on the type of terrain I'll be hunting. This year will be the Ruger American Predator in 6.5 Creedmoor, my wife hunts with a Remington Model Seven in 6mm Remington.

In my area there are some very big deer in my area.

I have many rifles but by far my favorite is my Ruger Hawkeye SS 300 win mag LH that I shoot a Sierra Varminter 110 gr hollow point @ 3650 FPS. Keep them below 3700 fps. Above that you can get some to come apart. I am loading 78 gr. of IMR 4350. Deer to Groundhogs. Fantastic round.

I used my trusty Remington 870 express for 25+ years here in Iowa. Recently purchased land in Wisconsin and wanted a gun I could use in both. Just picked up a Ruger American .350 Legend. Love the gun and ammo is affordable. Since it’s a straight walled cartridge, I can use it in Iowa too.
