Isn't Honda the one with the funky oil drain hole?
It has threads on 1/3 of the diamiter of the hole and a gap on the rest of the hole.
If you try to tap it the tap will go crooked and the drain bolt won't seal.
And, if you do get it taped, a threded insert will prevent half the oil from draining.
Maybe @HondaTech can shed some light on it.

I have the best luck using a single over sized piggy back instead of tapping them out

Took machine to the dealer today. He said he will take pics and send to Honda to see if it’s covered under warranty. If covered he said probably a couple months to repair. If it’s not covered I will fix it myself. Dealer said first 2 threads bad and others pushed in. Have to wait and see I guess.
Not covered by warranty. The funny thing is I bought my wife a white 2020 P5. As I was loading it on the trailer I got the call..... NOT COVERED.....

How are those secured in place, what keeps them from backing out with the drain plug? 🤔

There's a stamping tool that spreads the outer edge that digs into the case so it won't back out.

Finished the oil and filter change. Started machine and let it run for 10 minutes. Shut down. Put cardboard under machine. Will follow up in am.
YouTube time sert or stripped oil drain plug and watch the vids. There are a ton.
