Order placed. $1,383 OTD delivered. Est delivery 11/19 to 11/24. We shall see.

I've actually bought quite a bit from Ron Ayers over the years (when I rode my road bikes), but didn't know about this discount on these shocks. Even with my 15% discount from the dealer where I bought the Pioneer at, it would have cost me $1,568 plus another big chunk to ship them to me or a 200 mile round trip to pick them up - so probably an easy $1620-ish or more at minimum.

Shout out to @TripleB and @Remington. Thanks!
you bet man!
thats a great price! thats what i paid back early 16’. they've jumped $300 since then in most cases

About a week
Eight days after my order, I got the email.

My expected ship date for the fronts isn't even a date - it's TBA (to be announced).

The PDF shows the rear shocks were received on 11/11/2021, but nobody ever offered to ship them separately.

This is the price now. These are the part numbers to order if you want them in a timely fashion. These are gray springs. Took about 8 days to receive these. Order date was March 31.

Just called them and front shocks have been on back order for 8 months. I will have my rear ones on Friday but still need to find in stock front Fox shocks to complete my setup.
Get the fronts for a 1000-3. Just have to change the springs

This. It's what I just did. Fronts for the 1000-5 have been on backorder for ~10 months, actually. There are plenty for the 1000-3 available.

Ok, will order 3P fronts, and 5P springs from?
2.5" (fronts): https://www.amazon.com/Viper-Spring-Available-Multiple-Ratings/dp/B08HFVL8DV?tag=sxsweb24-20
3.0" (rears): https://www.amazon.com/Viper-Coil-Over-Spring-Available/dp/B08J9JM9X6?tag=sxsweb24-20

I have a Phantom Camo P1K5, so I went with black springs. Red would look silly.

I went with 250# on the fronts and 300# on the rears, all 14".

You may wish to do a little more reading online to determine if you would be better off with different spring rates, as how you plan on using your machine and where you ride will determine that.

I call Fox today and they have the 5P springs in stock for 60 each. They say the valving is different on the 3P shocks, would not tell me more than that.

I found rear fox shocks for the 5P so will keep those as they came.
I do light trail driving and use it around the land I hunt and manage

The springs on the OEM Fox QS3's are progressive rate springs. From what I've read, you'll be much happier with linear rate springs. Based on all my reading, I don't believe the valving is different - just the spring rates. But if you want to pay for a progressive rate spring and put it on the 1000-3 fronts, that's your choice. Search the forums - lots of owners swapping out their QS3 springs for linear rate springs.
