They’re brand new plugs. I bought brand new oem plugs this morning. Can I switch the cylinder wires around and see if it fires then?
Those are new plugs, with that much coloration on the one without tape?

I put the old plug back in while the new plug is in the motor. I put the plug against the motor block and fired the machine up. It’s getting spark from the wire. Does that mean it’s getting too much gas into that cylinder to fire?

It's best to keep it online so others can offer up ideas (I have a Talon and just doing basic trouble shooting, trying to keep the thread on top for more input). Should delete your number so scammers can't get it.

If you have access to the wires on the injectors, gently push the wire into the injector - some were breaking inside the insulation but I thought that problem was fixed.

ok thanks. I’ll look for the injector wires. I just don’t know what that one spark plug that wasn’t firing in cylinder why it doesn’t look Dirty on the inside and the other does. This thing has ran fine up until now. Hard to believe it’s clean.

Checked the spark on both lines and it’s beautiful. Perfect. Both cylinders are getting gas but the forward cylinder just won’t fire. That tells me too much fuel or not enough air? What do you think?

I'm a carburetor guy, FI is voo doo to me. Time for a compression check, can't fire without compression. But your motor is too new for that kind of trouble, no matter how long it was sitting. Any chance mice got to the wiring (but then you wouldn't have spark).

What’s that? I drained the tank. Put heet in with new ethanol
Free gas. Both cylinders have great spark. Only one ignites. Both are getting fuel. It’s either too much fuel maybe or not enough air? Took the air box off and no nest

Did you do a compression check? If you’ve got fire that’s where I would look.

I haven’t because I don’t know the psi on the cylinders. I’ve tried looking them up but can’t find it

On a side note I took off the air box over the motor. The bastard that assembled the air box didn’t get the gasket in all the way and pinched it in between the air box outside so it was sucking air past the filter and there was sand granules in the box past the filter where it’s wide open down into the throttle bodies. I wonder how great that is for a motors. Pisses you off you spend as much as a f***ing car and they can’t do a simple job right that can be detrimental to you motor.

It doesn't matter, they need to be close to the same - we know one is working.
Good point. The air box gasket was screwed up from the factory so god only knows how much sand it has sucked through the motor.

I know you've tried fixing this but the problem could also still be water in the fuel system. I'm not a mechanic but I've had water in fuel problems before and know others that have. Not with my Honda but different machines. Sometimes it can be a bear to get water out of a fuel system. If that isn't it you may need to take it to a mechanic.

This is dumb, but have you smelled the oil in the crank case? If you smell gas in the oil you have a ring issue, stuck. I doubt you have a ring issue, but you do need to get oil on the rings before you do a compression test, I really think you have an electrical issue, bad wire and when you move it, it connects. Start it and start wiggling wires. Both of my injector wires went bad out of the blue. Keep us posted, Im really interested in the fix

Im not ruling that out yet. How long can the machine run with only one cylinder firing before it causes issues? It’s just blowing gas out of the exhaust because one cylinder is only working. I put heet in the clean fuel and got pretty damn close to all of the fuel out. I put about 3 gallons of fresh back in it.
