The heater hasn't happened yet! It connects to the bottom of the dash in the middle. Just concerned about middle passenger leg space.

Lots of heater installation posts on the forum…nearly as many posts as threads about hot dusty cabs…just need to use the search function.
all the heaters IMO have the same issue, takes forever to get good heat as most of the heaters simply splice into the cooling loop without isolating the front radiator.
i simply use a piece of cardboard to block about 50% of the front radiator inorder to get the heat output.
