So today I spent 12 hrs on and off going over the Talon. Got my 5mm impact hex driver and got 11 of 14 button head bolts out no issue, had to drill out the last 3 and finished the Trail Armor skids rock sliders.
Installed my 10-80 Dirt Sports pre filter and seat riser rails.
Put the CA TECH high clearance radius rod set installed along with the Honda trailing arm mud guards, not sure how long they will last in the rocks, appears to be low hanging fruit, ripe for the picking.
Read where a lot of water gets splashed into the drivers foot well from the 4" tall x 2" wide hole for the brake pedal spring and brake light sensor wire. Used some rubber materials from
@trigger make a flap that lays over and around the spring tightly. Should stop 95% of the water.
My stuff from the
@Hondasxs club store came in so I could run my key on power, stinger, and fuse box for accessories. That CA TECH battery tray is no joke, will fit a huge battery.
Made a non conductive plate from OEM skid material to mount stinger and fuse box to, then cut a piece of triggershield material to fit between the plate and battery top. Wired up a few items to test.
This is by far the most under rated and most efficient way to set up a fuse box, with stinger relay, and rocker switch Pre-Wired by
@Hondasxs to run key-on power, over ride power on with key off, or completely disconnect everything from your battery with the simple selection of the 3 position rocker switch.
