Hey all new to the forum just picked up my 2017 Honda pioneer 1000-5 Deluxe. Just wanted to get some input on whether to go with a dual battery set up or just do a replacement of the oem battery with a lithium ion battery

Guys here seem to run either the odyssey pc925 or the mighty max 925 from ebay. True utv isolator is also a common part.

Congrats on your new ride. You will hear both options from guys here. I added a 2nd battery Odyssey PC925L and used a true battery isolator to separate from the stock battery.

Also used a blue sea system fuse block and a stinger isolator that I hooked up in between the 2nd battery and the fuse block. The stinger isolator is activated by a master switch so that I can shut off all drain on the 2nd battery.

There are some that use a Busman to distribute power to accessories but I ended up not having anything that drew more than 15 amps so I went with a fuse box.

There are lots of ways to do the 2nd battery and searching the different build threads will give you multiple ideas. My biggest piece of advice is to sketch out what you want to do before you do it and plan for future accessories

This is the lithium battery that I found that I would think would work for my application without doing the traditional dual set up battery and what kind of pushes me towards the lithium over the Dual setup is the fact that you got over 4000 charge cycles and you can most likely recharge the battery im half the time or less then acid lead battery from what I've read. What would be your guys's thoughts on this?

And I don't know if it's been done by anybody on here yet but instead of doing the traditional analog switches I'm going all-digital using a 9.6 inch Samsung tablet

I have not seen that done here anyways - very interested to see what components you need - how do you hook up
It's going to be trial and error lol. It's called ride control it's done through Bluetooth the ride control box has relay and fuses all your lighting and everything will wire into it and then be controlled through the Samsung tablet

It's controlled by Bluetooth through the tablet just wire all your accessories through the Ride control box it comes with relays and fuses built into the box. as far as the tablet goes that would be trial and error to get it mounted and look clean my soundbar supposed to be here Wednesday

Will be good to hear/read your experience - that looks like a pretty neat system to set up. Lots of options for sure.
Also interested in hearing your take on the JBL sound bar - I believe that is new on the market

I have looked into the RC controller. I would like to stream music to a soundbar, run a gps program and controll auxiliary devices. The one thing that i have run into is there is not any bluetooth devices that will run two or more devices at one time. Re: streaming to soundbar and connected to the RC controller.

I don't have any experience with the rc controller but I am able to stream music to my soundbar via Bluetooth and also use my Bluetooth remote to control the phones volume and media settings.

So can you for example stream music to 2 srts of head phones or seperate soundbars?

I have to do a little bit more research on both units but they say the 3.0 Bluetooth allows multiple pairing and use at the same time
