P500 Moose 2" Receiver Hitch Installation

2015 P5 Moose receiver fit as it should no drilling, filing bolt holes was just bolt up and go. They included 2 bottom bolts, nuts along with top sets and of course the spacers. These are all in imperial not metric and include Nylock nuts.

Yeah they bolt up to the old ones perfect. Even work with the back bumper with longer bolts.

Not sure about the Moose, but the MFG Supply fit my 520 perfect. I'm pretty sure the 500 and 520 rear frame geometry is identical.

Agree, the MFG Supply was an easy install on mine.

I finally ordered the Moose 2" hitch receiver (Partzilla) for my 2020. It went on without any mods/adjustments! I need to clean up hitch and put a little paint on it and put it to use!

How much clearance do you have between the top of the ball and the muffler? Enough to put the receiver hitch on I must assume.

There is plenty of room. I also flipped the hitch ball to the bottom of the hitch to gain just a bit more ground clearance.

New member here. Bought a P5 off my brother last fall. Trying to set it up for my needs.

These Moose/MFG hitches are out of stock everywhere. Sledguy on eBay is selling them for double the price as any other retailer. Seems to be the only one with any in stock though.
If anyone has a hitch they haven't installed, I could really use one. Only a matter of time before I bust this 1-1/4" stock hitch with the things I'm trying to tow...

Thankfully this rented UV34 has been up to the task for now.

Mfgsupply.com has them in stock, item 1195CMP $166.98 (list $200.36). Not sure what price sledguy is selling them for.
Prices on everything has gone up a lot with fuel sur charges and steel prices.

It'll probably fit anyway but even some of the 500 guys had to make the holes a little bigger to make the holes line up.
