I'm trying to decide ether paint or do the vinyl

If you have vinyl available I'd say try it. I only put a light coat on the letters the other day and yesterday I thought I was going to have a few minutes to get back at it and when I ran my finger over paint it smeared a bit. Might just b the type of paint though. I still want to put at least 2 more coats on. If it wipes off it is what it is

The othe day the wife got a vinyl sticker she wanted to put on the back tab of the roof. It was kind of a PITA to get it to stick. I cleaned and wiped area real good n all but for some reason it didnt want to cooperate too well. Just a thought if you do the vinyl. After sun hit it a cpl hrs it helped a lot, I dont think its going anywhere now

A while back I saw someone's rig here and they had a panel like the ones on the doors but on tail gate. That looked really good!! I think it was in white, I'd like to know if that's something for sale or if they made it. I can't remember who it was though

I had to peel it back bit by bit with a razor blade amd left it out in sun for a while. Then took it right out to the mud havent cleaned her yet

I just cleaned mine a couple hours ago. What do you use to clean yours

I just hose it down where its really muddy and every now n then I pressure wash it. I'm not too crazy on keeping her too clean

Pretty sure @CumminsPusher painted his tailgate sections white on one of his P1k builds. It looked really good, but CP is pretty handy in the painting department so I'm not sure you'd get anything to stick without the stuff he's got at his disposal.

That might've been it! I never read into it too much to know if it was a panel or paint but it did look good.

Thank you buddy. @JenElio I actually cut out that section from another tailgate because I wanted it separated and raised on top to look like the door panels.
Painting and getting it to stick was relatively easy, the problem was sanding and priming out the texture so it was smooth like the adjacent panels.

Thats BADA**!! Is that clear coat? Or single stage? How'd you attach? Panel clips?
