Well my build is "almost" done. We all know it's never done. I figured I would start a thread to show any extra add on stuff and videos I make so I don't muddy up others threads...

First video I've ever done with Garmin Virb editor. I'm sure I will get better. I wanted to ride today with some people and it didn't work out so I ended up going and pulling pictures off my deer cameras on our cattle farm. Turned on the Virb while I was riding around. Pretty crazy how flat the video looks. This property is a nightmare to walk around. With the leaves everywhere, very loose flint rock, and pretty steep hills, I usually fall down every time I walk up/down the hills. It's kind of a long video I tried to edit out some stupid crap. I have some footage from riding Mark Twain National forest I will try and get up soon.

GAWD! WTF music is that? Here is a tip... Try not to go beyond 6 minutes a video. You will normally lose people. Sometimes you can't help it. Getting someone to watch a 22.52 minute vid is almost impossible unless it has dancing girls. The program that comes with the virb is basic but has some nice features if you experiment with it.

I like the pitch and roll indicators! You're right about that land, looks like it could use a good burn, better for everything. Did you get your tie rod replaced?

We have around 2000 total. This spot is around 550 now I think. Every time someone with property touching ours puts it for sell we buy it. Thanks. I love the views on the top of the ridge.

Yea I will get you one today. It's just on a sticky mount in the center of the hood. I think it shows about a 4 degree downslope all the time.

Oh, so it's outside the windshield! Also, the picture seems real stable from most I've seen. Does that camera have something built in that compensates for the rough ride? What kind of a chore was it to replace the tie rod end?

It's just the elka shocks come on monte. (It also has active image stabilization...I doubt that's it though. Haha) it wasn't that bad once I figured out what I was doing. Getting the old one broken loose from the rack was definitely the worst part.

Ha I'm sorry, I forgot you had done the shock upgrade. That's probably it. I'm use to looking at these videos taken on P5's too. So that's probably part of it. That's the part I would have figured to be the toughest.

Thanks - I have a Sony cam that I have used for my shooting matches and I am looking for a preferred way to mount. I don't know if the Sony will have the video stabilization that it looked liked your has but I am going to give it a try.

By popular demand... no music in this video. It was 44 minutes when I started. I thought I had it to 6 minutes but now it shows 10... I'll figure this editing crap out eventually.
