Been doing alot of homework on a heater or the free "heat "option motor or front panel is it worth my time installing the fans and switches or just buying the real deal. Just purchased the Honda soft cad. Also can't find any install video. Not that I need it but looking for any info that might make it easier

Not sure what is involved with the honda soft enclosure so can't help you there. I have a CEC soft enclosure and it's basically velcro staps and snaps and pretty straight forward install. As for heat, I considered buying a forced air unit and tapping into the oil lines instead of coolant to get more heat faster. But went with the center panel removed and it puts out a lot of heat as long as I'm moving about 8mph or so. And cruising gravel roads at 30 plus it's none stop heat. Sitting still in 20 degree weather and wind blowing like crazy, not so much. But otherwise it's plenty for me after I corked up air gaps. Some folks spend a lot trying to make a pioneer as toasty as an suv. For me a soft enclosure and center panel off works great. Just not sitting still on cold super windy days. Installing the underseat fans is something you'll appreciate more in the summer.

Your enclosure, like mine requires you to unzip the window to open the door. Seems inconvenient at first but wont take long and it's no big deal.
But be warned. If your all zipped up and got the heat rockin and someone lets loose with a beer fart....Houdini couldn't get out of there fast enough.

There’s a 6” inch square panel on the firewall with two 5mm hex bolts in it, take that out for winter. Heater not needed. We do have full hard enclosure I made a few years back and we just haven’t used it much, I hate feeling trapped, that opening provides plenty of heat with just windshield and roof for us here.
Also did a couple 3” computer fans in rear foot kick panel, that worked ok. Pretty minimalistic nowadays, we just go
