I've had this on the brain since rocmar posted it. I'm just wondering where the front or rear tires would land in respect to the wheel wells.
The cradle location on this is not adjustable. If I knew that the tires would be beyond the wheel wells, I'd order it now.
Tongue weight on my travel trailer is 340 lbs. This thing would be perfect.

Trigger
haha
Trigger pulled. Ordered it last night from Discount Ramps. $407 to the door.
Took a bunch of measurements and, according to my calculations, the front tires should sit just in front of the wheel wells with rears in the cradles.
Plan on extending the width of the bar, 48" isn't comfortable enough for me. Now I'm searching the right air bags.

Just ordered Airlift Ride Control kit. Guaranteed for life. Didn't go for the onboard compressor but did order the tee/union. Fills both bags evenly through one valve. Rated for 2000 lbs.
Just need some ramps now and I'm ready to go. I'll probably have close to a grand in this before I'm done.
Still cheaper than selling my travel trailer and buying a toy hauler. Keeps mama happy too... she loves our little trailer.

No, these are regular air bags, black. I saw the red foam ones you were talking about but they are a fixed load helper.
Would never be able to adjust the ride. Kinda like a helper spring.
Air bags are spec'd to have a certain amount of leakage. Just like air testing water pipes, have to hold a certain amount of pressure
for a certain amount of time. Minimal leakage is acceptable.

I'm picking up a 2017 500 will be putting it into the exact same truck. A 1500 with the 5'7" bed. Do you guys think the 500 will bend the tailgate? I'll take pics with it loaded. I don't have a long ride home so I'm not worried about that.
