It doesn't look like that's going back together. Are you putting something else in its place?

Now that you have it apart, what are your thoughts about it?

Actually I put it back together and rewelded. Uploading video now. Now the question is to use it as it was in the same configuration or add super trap at the end or buy new Walker general purpose 2 inch inlet outlet exhaust . Catalytic converter will stay as it is. I opened it to about 1.75" , this should not restrict the flow. Opened can a bit also, not with 1.5" exhaust tip , it does not hick up anymore uphill. I feel that what I did did the trick. Now I want to reduce some noise if possible, seems like most of the noise comes just from the engine itself.

I've tried to add super trap exhaust and later rewedded old cap with 1.5" opening.

How many decibals was it before?

87 with super trap > 86 just OEM > 85 db with add on exhaust

but now I have super good flow , at least less restrictive then before, I'm sure Jack has even better flow with his straight pipe HMF exhaust , I wonder if he could measure db on his phone

Less restrictive is good, do you think it sounds any different?

i hope your afr+ stays working mine just crapped out over the weekend so i have to wait until tuesday before i can call dobeck to figure whats going on!! the gauge no longer has back light and when i start the machine is jumps burried to the right and doesnt move and it runs the same as before i installed it

i hope its an easy fix if not i will not be happy ive had their ejks on a few machines for years with no problems now this only lasts 6 mths few hundred (never swamped) miles

ill try it out tomorrow for you but i can tell you the open hmf with no cat is very very loud
