@Montecresto do you have aftermarket springs?Monty if you have 16+ inches of ground clearance on 30 inch tires than your suspension is cranked up to high and that is why you rub so easily. The higher you go with suspension and stock a-arms the closer it puts the wheels at normal ride height. The more down angle on the a-arms the closer it is to the wheel well. I have 32s that measure more like 31.3 and virtual never rub. But I have more like 14+" of ground clearance. Hope that makes sense. And/or you have a really wide tire....which is a factor too.
Hmmm, it’s not wide tires because I went with 10’s on all four corners. And haven’t messed with the suspension.....🤔Monty if you have 16+ inches of ground clearance on 30 inch tires than your suspension is cranked up to high and that is why you rub so easily. No, everything is stock and it’s LV....@Montecresto do you have aftermarket springs?
Was that settled or just off the jack? Also l.v. has different springs ect, may just be a little stiffer sitting there. No, everything is stock and it’s LV....
It was settled on the trailer. Yeah I know it’s suspension is different and I’m not sure even adjustable???Was that settled or just off the jack? Also l.v. has different springs ect, may just be a little stiffer sitting there.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!It was settled on the trailer. Yeah I know it’s suspension is different and I’m not sure even adjustable???
I totally agree, unless Hometeam is right and my suspension is cranked up too high??? Apparently I shouldn’t have any rubbing with 30’s....If it ain't broke don't fix it!
My 30’s, which are a true 30.5 rub on the drivers side at full turn, without even going fast and taking a hard dip to the left. Not sure what will happen then...but the rubbing at slow speed on the level, just turning around in the driveway even, isn’t bad, and certainly not anything that will wear the tire or inner fender well.
A friend has the same machine with stock 28’s on it and he has 13.25” where I have 16.25” and this is at the rear right below the receiver hitch area in the middle.
I’m guessing that stocks might be a true 27.5”.....🤔
Been able to get any seat time in it yet?

Hmmm, great idea snuff, I’ll check on that. Thank you!! 😊You might want to check your front end alignment. If the Toe is out, the inside wheel will turn sharper. Also if the rack wasn't centered when aligned could cause 1 side to turn sharper than the other. Center the steering wheel and count the turns of the wheel left and right to see if the rack is centered and check the toe.
Btw, what do you think about my 16+ clearance. Do you think there’s something with my suspension? You might want to check your front end alignment. Doubt it. Live valve may set to stiff when your turned off for trailering, thought I read that somewhere. You may be able to take some preload out. But I would not over think it.Btw, what do you think about my 16+ clearance. Do you think there’s something with my suspension?
Sorry @Plumber32 not meaning to step on your thread...🙄
Ok lol. I’ll check the alignment like snuff said and keep riding...😂Doubt it. Live valve may set to stiff when your turned off for trailering, thought I read that somewhere. You may be able to take some preload out. But I would not over think it.
You can't check ride height that way. You should find a level spot, make sure you are in "Normal" mode and approach the flat spot from about 50 feet away real slow and let the machine stop on its own on the flat spot without touching the brakes. Put in park and leave it running and slowly get out and re-measure.It was settled on the trailer. Yeah I know it’s suspension is different and I’m not sure even adjustable???
Curious if you ordered this and installed it yet? The price is great, but I can’t get it to load an X4, it keeps defaulting to an R.....🙄Tusk looks good. Probably gotta drill my own drain holes, but half the $

Get someone with the same machine to measure from the shock body top to the preload nut and see how they compare. The LV also has crossover rings so make sure there is some clearance between the ring and plastic spring divider at ride height.Btw, what do you think about my 16+ clearance. Do you think there’s something with my suspension?
