Honda needs to get their HVAC models going for sure. I think more and more people are buying specifically for it. If I remember correctly even CF-Moto is introducing HVAC with full doors on their 1000 pro platform in 2025 with MSRP at $18k. Massimo already has HVAC. Honda is really behind the times when the knockoff machines are doing something.

I'm sure they will.

I bought this machine for the cab and hvac. Kawasaki was really the only brand that I considered to be close to Honda in terms of quality and reliability. I would absolutely prefer a Pioneer, but I'm sure it will be a while before I could get a Pioneer with a similar cab to what I got. But I had to give up the Honda powertrain unfortunately. The Ridge definitely has a great engine, I'd rate it above a Pioneer for sure. The Pioneer's dual clutch transmission is far superior to the CVT in the Ridge. I can say also that the Ridge has better suspension too.

Also, Kawi's standard 3 year warranty was a big factor that made me more comfortable, and I ended up adding 3 more years of factory warranty. They had some incentive to sell them so I ended up getting it for $999, which I can get refunded if I never use it or can be transferred if I sell it.

Well, I can say the Kaw's are tuffer than hell. Went with a friend 20 years ago and bought a new mule. He farms with it and he's still got it and uses it daily. Broken in two teenage may I mention. They're great machines, can't beat'em.

My neighbor picks up pop cans (soda for you southern folk). We have 10 cent deposit on them here in Michigan. He says only 13 million more and it's paid for 🤣👍. He has a mule ext pro or whatever they're called. He loves it but has changed a few belts already. He's 79.

All cans are Coke cans no matter the actual flavor in the south.

Roughly 110 miles on it now. Some things I've learned.

It drinks gas. I'm talking 10-12 mpg. Never bothered to check on my Pioneer because it seemed pretty efficient. I guess 4 cyl running 5k-9k all the time + CVT really uses the gas. It does idle more too to keep the heat going

All the fancy tech is over rated. The cameras and Garmin tread are just not needed for me, and I already have one GPS tracker collecting my data (cell phone). I'd trade those for an FM radio!

I learned that the center console in the cheaper XR model is easily removable. This really bums me out because the bench seat in the Limited model was a huge purchasing consideration because I ride with my dogs most of the time. Turns out you can easily pop that console out and stuff some pillows between the bucket seats in the XR. So I didn't need to buy the more expensive Limited to get what I really needed. Could have saved $3000 or more, threw a harbor freight winch and a radio in there and I'd be happier.

🤔🤦‍♂️ Hopefully you will be happy with it. We just like to give each other crap on here to have fun. Nothing personal. But..... it is a honda site 😉😁. Kawasaki is usually good quality too. Probably 2nd to Honda. 110 miles really isn't enough to love it or hate it yet. Maybe gas mpg will improve once gets broke in 🤷‍♂️ . Good luck 👍
