This is the pelican case that fits in the rear floorboard with the seat folded down. I usually just have random junk in it. It now carries a small quarter-inch impact so I can break down a tire and throw a tube in it. Not carrying a spare tire saved a lot of weight.

If you did not have rear passengers, you could use two of these and carry quite a bit of stuff.

I carry a T handle lug wrench under the driver seat with two ammo boxes on top of it.

Can you send a link to these boxes?

The ammo boxes have never got water in them. Even when we stop and have lunch while parked in the river during summertime.

I keep them both tied down with bungee cords and the weight is nice and low and I never hear them rattling around. I’ve done two or three different set ups other than ammo boxes but I came back to these because it fit me best

Just an FYI, the seat belt bolts are not metric threads. They are 7/16-20 NF thread pitch, they are the only non-metric threads on the entire machine as far as I know of.

This goes for P700 and 500 as well.

1400 right? I swear I have a couple of those and I tried to put in the same place , Probably need to try by lifting up the bed and placing them in the footboard.

No need to lift the bed. If it doesn’t fit one way, turn it 90° and it should fit.

I’m out of the shop now or I’d take pic. Maybe later
