Hi. I did a search on this forum for any info regarding recommendations for a snowblower to add the front of my 520; not finding too much info.

A plow is not a good solution for me on the 520 as we get a lot of lake effect snow and our 300 ft gravel driveway has trees along both sides limiting areas to push. Considering adding a snowblower on the front of the 520; wondering if anyone on here has experience with a snowblower that worked well and fit easily onto their machine.

Thanks in advance.

since having a pioneer since 16’ Ive never seen a snowblower attachment, only on a lawn tractor for the size you speak of. You will need a PTO or a drive pulley attachment to make that work. The pioneers dont have that. You would have to do some major modification to make that work. mybe should have bought a P1K3 or a P1K5 and got the V plow attachment better yet, a V plow for your truck if your truck can handle it? thats what i have.
Or just keep what you got and stay on top of the snow instead of waiting for it to get too high before moving it ;)

I don't suggest it unless you have a large open area to remove snow from.

Like already mentioned here, it's going to need it's own engine. Which means, it's going to be one huge albatross to maneuver.

This is what you need:

You can equip the Kubota BX sub-compact tractor with a front mounted hydraulic snow plow blade or a rear mounted snow blower using the PTO.

The larger B series tractor can be equipped with a front mounted PTO-driven snow blower.

I have a BX 2380 with a snow blade that works well for scraping my black too driveways.

I forgot about an engine drive style. would be an option But 2 things, like @Jerryg said, you will need some major suspension upgrade to handle that weight for a P520 and not just the shocks.
The other thing is cost. 🤯 Its at least 1/2 the cost of that P520 and thats before duty is charged. Buy the time u get it and do everything right, youll be pst a P1 price with a nice set up.
that price is $5900 plus the customs duty that now a days will be nuts.

Unless you just can't do the walking, this is what I suggest.

That is what I use. My current drive is gravel and probably between 75-100 ft. The pic is on my Mom’s concrete drive though. You can set the tilt so that it doesn’t pick up the gravel really easily or pin it to the ground and it’ll completely clean the walks to bare concrete.

I purchased a similar model in the early 2000's. Still going strong at my moms house. It's just getting broken in now.

Now that is an albatross, if I have ever seen one.
If you have a large area to clear, this is the tool to do it. They’re made in Canada, where they know a thing or two about moving snow. Heavy duty steel, it’s a quality unit. In cab tilt, turn, and auger controls.
If I had liked the Polaris I would still have it.
It was tough to turn around, nearly 20 feet long altogether. I had to go out in the street to turn around and come back. The JD can U-turn in the driveway.
