I have only been using a Bose Soundlink bt speaker as I have only had the machine a week. We are planning on adding an overhead system in the Spring. I am looking at something like my friend's Swamp Donkey or a Froghead Industries. I want the entire unit enclosed with only the power and ground to run down the frame bar to a power source. I would probably get better sound out of a unit with a pod in all 4 corners overhead, but I don't want to wire all the components together and have exposed wires. Toooooo many choices when looking at what other owners have bought/made.

SSV Works overhead is the tuner, two 6 1/2" Infinity's in that. It also drives two 5 1/4" Polks mounted in pods on the underside of the roof. Alpine amp drives Infinity 6 1/2" components in kick pods, tweets are on the dash. Two 10" Rockford Fosgate subs right behind me. 10 speakers and 1000 watts RMS, it hits pretty hard.
Edit: all contained too, you don't see it from outside of the machine.

Good Lord!!! Pics of this massive system please. How many extra batteries do you have on this thing?

I'll post some pics when I get home tonight, it's changed so many times I don't think I have anything current. I posted a sound clip a while back too that I can dig up. Only one extra battery mounted under the seat.

I'd like to see it as well, I have (4) 6.5" Skar in a custom fiberglass roof I built with a 10" Skar sub. Its clean sounding but no overwhelming bass.

Here's the SSV overhead. 50 watts per channel rms, it's driving two 6.5 Infinity's and two 5.25 Polks in roof pods.



These are 6.5 Infinity component speakers, tweeters on dash and crossovers mounted under the hood. They're driven by an Alpine 200 watt amp mounted in the box with the subs.



These are powered 10" Rockford Fosgate subs in sealed boxes, 300 watts each. Storage box is vented and lined with a cheap Dynamat.



Second battery under the seat, mounted a jack under there too.

I have the Wet sounds stealth 10 and i love it! Im big on quality music when out on the trail or any riding park. highly recommend wet sounds

I’ve seen Triggers machine (although not with his latest audio upgrades), but the old audio system was quite impressive.
If you want to know what to upgrade for any Pioneer (especially a P5) just ask him, if he doesn’t have it, you don’t need it.
Without question, he is the go to master of accessories and add-ons, and I mean that with the utmost compliment to his ability, his work is truly a craft and work of genius.

I went cheap with the boss head unit in the dash & added two more speakers in home made pvc speaker pods. It’s loud enough to hear over wide open engine noise clearly. I do plan on adding a sub in the future for better sound though.
