I think the later date this year worked a little better. The temps aren't really an issue, warmer than here regardless. Trail conditions weren't near as bad as the year before, some white trails were a sh** show in April '18. FWIW.

I think you should have an east and a west Takeover.

East RRB is great because no matter how many people come they have room (camping spots, cabins, hotels) for everyone. And its in the middle of the USA east side.

West maybe Colorado area?

If I'm home I'm going for sure to the east one would even try and go to the west one also.

I like the old dates the last 3 in late April. #1 easier to plan before the summer activities hit #2 more muck and washouts
