Kraftwerks turbo kit is discounted on R1industries at $3750. Have that on order now. Told myself I wasn’t gonna do it but here I am. Already have the tune from PPEI ready to go. Anything I should know ahead of time?

Are you doing o2 sensors too? I welded 2 bungs on the new header pipe and bought the dual band dynojet kit. Ppei was able to fine tune the tune so it ran better. Some of the worm clamps that came with my kraftwerks kit were too small. I think because they revised the hoses to the intercooler. Biggest pain in the ass is the oil hose connection on the front of engine at the crankshaft service bolt. Getting the hose lined up and threaded by yourself sucks. I had to stop multiple times and come back to it.

I have that dual band dynojet kit as well because I previously had a full exhaust. I wasn’t planning on keeping it on as Erik at ppei already sent me a tune for my elevation. Could you send of photo of exactly where you had the bungs welded? I’ll mimic your setup. Thanks for the info!

Machine is still in my enclosed trailer from ice racing. I'll try and get a pic tomorrow. Erik is awesome. He's quick to respond to questions. Even dumb ones. You are going to love the Turbo. The difference in power with 32" tires is incredible.

I’d appreciate it! Glad to hear you’re enjoying it. I’m excited for the setup as I’ve never owned anything with a turbo. Always been the NA guy. Now I get to install my own.

Here's the pics of the bungs. Not the prettiest weld job. Ran out if gas. Another thing I did was mount the control box for the dual band between the front seats under the console behind the cup holders. Then I extended the length of the cable connecting the power vision 3 to autotune box. I have the power vision mounted on the center dash. This was easier then extending all the tiny wires coming from the 02 sensors to the autotune box.

Thanks for the photos. I’ll mimic the setup. I can’t wait until I get the kit. It’s going to be a while since kraftwerks is waiting on a new manufacturer for their support brackets but I’m excited nonetheless.

I also had an issue when I connected the at-300 dual band to the pv3. The at-300 has a keyed power and ground wire. The pv3 also sends power and ground to the at-300. It was back feeding the machine, and when the pv3 was plugged in, the dash on the machine would stay on. Dynojet wasn't any help. They only told me the at-300 wasn't compatible with the talon. The only reason I knew the pv3 was sending juice to the at-300, was when I extended the cable, I saw a red and black wire in there and tested the wires for power. I ended up disconnecting the black and red wire in the data cable, and it fixed my issue. If you do the opposite, the pv3 doesn't send enough power to trigger both o2 sensors.
