I'm on the edge of buying a 1000-5 Deluxe, but need a trailer first. For you that trailer your 1000 around, what size are you using? I'm thinking a Doolittle SS 7712 will fit the bill. 77" wide by 12' long. Think that's plenty big?

I had a 6.5x12 that I loved before getting my pioneer. It kept growing so had to upgrade trailer and so glad I did. 7x20 is perfect. Not too big alone but can actually squeeze my buddy’s on too if needed

I use a single axle 6.5 x 12. It will haul the Pioneer or Zero turn JD. It also doubles as a trailer that is pulled by the Pioneer when working around the house, gardening, etc.

I would think that it would work

dont know what your other wants/needs might be trailer wise - but I have upgraded my situation to an enclosed and have an aluminum trailer with wood decking I am going to put up for sale locally - it is a Triton ATV 128-2 - I set it up with the erickson etrack chocks and it has a lockable truck toolbox on front of deck $1,400 - eastern iowa - Mods delete this post if not appropriate. OP pm me a number and I will text a pic if interested. 77x12 will work fine though.

Whatever trailer you get, get a tandem axle. I've seen too many mishaps from trailering loads this heavy with a single axle trailer.
I have several landscaping trailers, both 6 and 7 feet wide. You can get by with a 6' wide trailer but it isn't optimum.

I had a tandem 7 x 14 built just for the Pioneer with a Blackwood deck and amd a beaver tail deck to have a shorter ramp and the Blackwood to increase my safety of walking as it gets wet and increases grip.

I tried longer trailers first, but in town and turning right onto streets with a lane to go straight and turn left and a right turn lane.... The trailer would have to go over the curb with the lanes full. The 14 can make the turn.

mine is 16' long, dual 3500 axles. Have extra room for a 4 wheeler and also I have a gas can rack. Tongue mounted tool box is a plus. I don't worry about the trailer being overloaded.

Doubles as a camping deck when we are in the desert under the stars (no tent) and don't want rattlesnakes and scorpions crawling into bed with us.

Now I need to figure out how to install the roof and windshield. Roff came with zero instructions, but I think I've ran across them somewhere on this forum ....
This is the minimum requirement for a trailer :p
