Update - The 2023 Ground Wire has been Removed!!

Who has a 2023.
I need to check both a S model and a non-S model.
But reports coming in that the front ground wire has been removed.
Positive is there but no ground.
Wire diagrams seem to affirm this as well.

Anyone have hands on with a S and Non S can check.

I can verify on a 2023 1000RS that it's still there. My father n law has one and I put a turn signal kit on it last weekend and the positive and negative were taped together and had a little zip tied plastic mount around it on the frame behind the steering wheel.

I see what you are saying. Maybe someone with a live valve non S will have to check theirs and Honda doesn't consider the 2023 RS a true 2023 since it's an S which is a carry over 22 as you know. I can guarantee you that his has one, I physically touched it last weekend. Now I didn't hook it up in the battery box so I guess its possible it has one and its not running to the battery and could be on the frame somewhere. Just a thought.

I just read the shared instruction.
It says that highlighted wire is included in the busbar kit.

I think this is the ground wire replacement.

Least you figured it out. So, we should make an official statement for anyone who comes and reads this from a search:

2023 1000RS - Same as all prior models with ground running from rear to front.
2023 1000R - New ground lug @ front of the machine and must add your own ground cable or the one that comes in the Honda bus bar kit.

I have a 2023 Talon x4 I'm installing the Honda busbar but I do have the negative cable from ground, battery I assume or grounded on the unit?? Do I hook up the negative to the busbar or do I need to find another negative. I do not have a lug nut for a negative ground. Forgive my lack of experience on this.

Use the new ground lug Honda added up front.
