Yeah, that sucks. In big storms they huddle up . Hopefully mama will look after her baby. And keep them away from the deep stuff.We will be fine. Hopefully can have some fun with my p1000-5 !
Seriously, it could be tough on the ranchers. The mud is already knee deep. Toss in 2’ of snow and now you got a situation in which it doesn’t take much to loose cattle and their babies.
We are taking precautions to bring as many cows and calves into shelter as much as possible and stocking those areas with hay as much as possible.
A guy in Cape Breton has little plastic sheds for the calf’s to stay out of the bad weather. Look like little igloos.
