Yeah it’s all 1/2 or 3/4 inch cast. If I close it down she’ll burn for hours. No insulation in my garage so it works great keeping it around 70 degrees. Just started it. She’ll be going all day. Is hardwood expensive in NY. Around $250 a cord in Halifax but in Cape Breton I can get two for $350. Split. My buddy in Calgary pays $600 for a cord of softwood.

maybe 100/150 face cord, I dont buy it though its whatever falls down near my trail or club rails when we are cleaning which is normally cherry or maple some ash but not much. used to be a farm with a bunch of fruit trees here and there

Id love to have 50 degree weather about now lol. I like snow but it can go away right after Christmas Day haha
Let’s meet in New

I’ll be out in it al day tomorrow and next week. There be a lot of furnaces to fix I’m sure.[/QUOTE]
A good friend just retired from President of a big furnace oil company up here. He wasn’t happy when I put in a Heat pump. Haha. Oh well. We still have oil for hot water. Our bill for oil so far this year is about $160. And our electric bill is $93 over last year. That’s with electric heat on in the basement. Our neighbor filled their tank twice so far. We usually spend over $3,000 on oil each year. So hopefully the Heat pump will save some money. Good for air in the summer too. The house is staying at 23c or 73f , so the heat is good. Once Muscat Falls comes on line, power will stay good for years. Power for all. Haha hopefully. The U. S. is going to benefit big time off it too. It’s a huge Dam project in Newfoundland. Good luck this week. Stay warm.

When Muskrat Falls comes on line, the cost of power to your house will double. At least 20 cents per kilowatt hour, possibly up to 25 cents. In New Brunswick we're paying 10.8 cents per KW hour. Keep your oil furnace...

Vehicles in Florida sound alarms at 37*?????
There are probably cars in Florida without antifreeze. Over heat, and just replace with water. After all, it’s Florida. And I wish I was there right now. They will be warmer, faster than us. Haha, probably next week. This summer you will be wishing for a little of this cold. Haha. Yeah, hard to believe. But I couldn’t live in Florida in the summer. I was in St Pete’s 30 years ago for my honeymoon. Haha. And it was crazy hot then, lol. I wonder if the car gives a heat warning too. Probably.

I didn’t mean that car had water. It looks new. Haha, especially for a temperature warning.

2nd day the mail is canceled in Wisconsin. Don't ever recall that in 39 yrs. No school either. I was outside for 10 min today. Was brisk but not crippling
I guess delivery in rain , sleet, snow and Hale, doesn’t say anything about cold. I saw it on the news. We had that cold when I was a kid and didn’t have clothes that are as warm as today. Haha. I have a jacket that I can’t wear unless it’s below-20, just start sweating. I also have boots good to -70. So you can dress for it. Haha
