No rain here, blue sky, sun ☀ 85 and low humidity...

Fire danger is very high. Headed back to Oklahoma then Arkansas in the morning. Grass is going to be out of control at both places with all the rain.....

The house is insulated and rocked, tape and bed nearly complete. Standby generated installed and working.

Oh my friend has a cottage in River John, he lives in Calgary, oil money. He has the same set up for generation, he noticed in Calgary that the temperature was going down at the cottage and called his brother in law to go look. He figured the generator didn’t kick in.
Well, it kicked in , but didn’t kick out, so it used the full $3,000 of propane and ran out. Haha, he can afford it.
Remember, his cottage.😊

Yeah, I’ve wondered about a generator not turning off when the power is restored. I’ve got a smart (🙄) generator, it communicates with my phone. I’ll know while I’m away if and when it kicks on, how long it runs, I can start/stop-it remotely....

Generator is connected to WiFi right? You want to monitor or control from you smart phone. Only works as long as the generator stays connected to the internet.
