We're about 10 degrees behind you folks...no clouds and sun is hot...off to the steel store to pick up some 2x3x0.083...Home Depot for some bolts and Taco Loco for fish tacos for lunch...a glorious day here as well.

What kind of fish will be in those tacos 🌮

BTW Monte, I found a green chili Hatch pepper sauce at Costco and it's pretty good stuff...had some on eggs and ham this morning.

It rained on off most day at work. SE Arkansas got some severe weather around 5:30 today some hail, high winds and a few tornado warnings. For most part it has traveled over into Mississippi now. We still have a few thunderstorms here and there.


Those tacos look good!

This stuff is 505 Southwestern.com medium green fire roasted peppers. Medium has a pretty good bite to it and I just made some chicken taco meat using it and it tastes great so far. I'm letting it blend the flavors in the fridge for awhile and will likely just use chips to eat right from the bowl. It's just me and the dogs for 10 days so no need to meet social standards eating or farting.

This stuff is 505 Southwestern.com medium green fire roasted peppers. Medium has a pretty good bite to it and I just made some chicken taco meat using it and it tastes great so far. I'm letting it blend the flavors in the fridge for awhile and will likely just use chips to eat right from the bowl. It's just me and the dogs for 10 days so no need to meet social standards eating or farting.
Yep, cabbage...👍

505 is very popular here....

I like to use it to make green chile chicken soup...😋

Tell me what's in it...I have a lot of chicken cooked and was wondering what to do with it...I'm game.
Yeah, me too, only one of those chickens were eaten last night.

So as I said, a jar of 505, potatoes, chicken, red mild peppers, onions, whole corn, Alfredo sauce and heavy whipping cream...

BTW, C’s making panko crusted cod fish and chips in the air fryer just now. How about you, have you been using it and liking it?

Agree... I used to go to the Sandia National Lab at ABQ some and spent a fair amount of time trying to figure out if I wanted to retire there. Had a fellow there that used to send me pinto's and peppers. He is 9th generation Spanish ancestry and owns a ranch South West of ABQ. Great pig cookin too over open coals...at least as good as North Carolina pig. Wife said it was not green enough so we ended up in North ID.

Are ya'll having problems from the invasion at the Border...yet?

I can agree with you that it’s not green enough in ABQ. But I’m just 2+ hours north of there and it’s a world of difference here.

No border problems here...

Wife loves it...makes everything but popcorn in it.

No cream or Alfredo sauce in the house but I can improvise. I usually make it with tomato chopped and V8 juice, garlic, peppers to taste and some veggie that's on hand. This is breast meat so red will fit. I like thigh meat chopped instead.

That will be good too.
But if you ever get the chance, the cream based soup is outa this world. Chowder like...👍

BTW, northern Idaho is fabulous.

No border problems here...
Liked Arizona when I live there West of Phoenix but tastes change of the years and I like the green now too.

Liked Arizona when I live there West of Phoenix but tastes change of the years and I like the green now too.
Again, I like northern Arizona better, Flagstaff/Prescott area....
