Turns out to be a 18 miles none loop, just a road sprinkled with dozens of dusty as hell trails some single track for bikes (read motorcycles) and a gob of 2 track we tackled with the 700. Some were steep and rocky and some were sideslope and narrow with a bunch of limbs hanging and most of the logs cut and removed by fire wood seekers. Copilot did fine but we have female fingerpints squeezed into the paint in places. Didn't break anything that I could see. Worth the trip and I just hosed off the trailer and 700 and wife's buggy that did fine too pulling the trailer down and back. I think my Frontier is making the trip to Rimrock since it works a little better pulling due to longer wheel base and hauls more stuff...has winch and is sorta set up for off road. Thanks Caper!!
We're doing a test run about 70 miles South today...70 mile trail loop mostly forest roads. The discussion of steak house's reminded me of a trip to Pappas Brother's in Houston next to HW and his Secret Service friends. Great fun!!
56 to mid 70's and bright blue cloudless skies...humidity sorta low.

Sun burned and ready for another adventure.
Sounds like a good day when you can scare the crap out of your co pilot and come home with the wheels still on the ground.Turns out to be a 18 miles none loop, just a road sprinkled with dozens of dusty as hell trails some single track for bikes (read motorcycles) and a gob of 2 track we tackled with the 700. Damn Caper...you sound like a carpenter!Sounds like a good day when you can scare the crap out of your co pilot and come home with the wheels still on the ground.

I ran into a nightmare yesterday. We are going to paint the kitchen. So she wants new backsplash too. It had 1/4” plywood behind the old one and indivisible barker board glued to the gyprock behind that. So I had to cut everything out. Ocellating saw was perfect. The rest will come out if we ever do cabinets. 😊
So today I have to put the electrical boxes back a little bit and then do the gyprock. Fun times.
🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪

We finally got out in the boat last night for dinner at Fisherman’s Wharf. Fried Walleye, sweet corn and boiled and salted new potatoes....😋

Um NO.......😂I got a table saw, brad nailer, miter saw, compressor, tape measure, speed square, chalk line, big square, 4 inch circular saw and a pencil. Does that make me carpenter?
Sure does. You can build a house with that. I know some people with a hammer that think they are a carpenter. Haha. Carpenters can be stage builders but state builders can’t be carpenters. Can’t pound a hot nail in a snow bank.I got a table saw, brad nailer, miter saw, compressor, tape measure, speed square, chalk line, big square, 4 inch circular saw and a pencil. I have more plumbing tools than that and still wouldn’t calumniate myself to such a profession......🤔I have a torch and solder , and a pipe wrench, does that make me a plumber.
To repeat those famous words....A plumber is as a plumber does...perhaps spoken by Snoopy with his paw in a cookie jar.I have more plumbing tools than that and still wouldn’t calumniate myself to such a profession......🤔
