Started out 62, high will be 83, We've had heavy rain showers in the mornings, then light showers the rest of the day. Unusual July as far as rain fall and temps.

Poured another 1/2” out of the rain gauge this morning and though it’s blue sky and sunshine now, forecast calls for rain this afternoon again…😎😎

Rain fell overnight; Warm today with humidity. I'm using vacation day today. Got to thinking about Dog days of summer. So I looked it up.

Poured out another 2/10 th’s this morning. It was 52* at 6:00 and will head to 78* for the high. Hanging some heavy ass doors today, trying to get this house finished up….

smoky again today.got a few hours of clear air and got out fishing yesterday afternoon.sunny and hot.i think.fires are getting bigger and closer.

Closer we get to this coming weekend higher temps climb while rain chances fade. Suppose be warm next week.

Any meadow flowers? We were in Montana on a horse back ride and rode through fields of Babies Breath, that was fun!

You may recall, these are the doors imported from India. Weight is 200+ lbs. I had to recharge the battery twice to get the lock set bore drilled and used brand new chisels to mortise in the hinges. I think they are teak, cocabolo, rosewood or some other exotic dense hardwood.

Any meadow flowers? We were in Montana on a horse back ride and rode through fields of Babies Breath, that was fun!

Meadow flowers are gone because I’m keeping it mowed in an attempt to kill the sprouting scrub oak and encourage grass growth until it’s completely covered. My plan in future years will be to let the flowers play out each spring before brush hogging….

Same up here. We had rain yesterday and a little more this evening. Temperature around 75ish.
Getting things ready for the camp.
Might have some rain there too. Over night would be good for the dust.

Watching the news last night it sounded like all of OR is on fire.
