A mild 42* here in the Spa City this morning Cap….headed for 63* for the high…😎👍

Btw, we got in the new hot tub last night for the first time, it was 102* and for 40 minutes I was in weightless and pain free bliss, both in knee and lower back!!! Which reminds me, I saw the pain management specialist on Tuesday and he said knee replacement is going to be the eventuality. Cortisone injections he said will hasten that on and so his suggestion is RFA (Radio Frequency Ablation) or simply nerve burn. 3 trips over a month beginning late January….☹️
My doc that's done a knee and both shoulders for me absolutely refuses to use cortisone...he considers it malpractice. Copilot has some age driven joint issues and her doc won't use it either, rather doing injections of some mild pain med into the joint. Sorry to hear you're in pain.

37 and rain changing into snow tonight and temps plunging into sub zero the first of next week...thanks BC!!! We got close to 10" Tuesday night and I spent 2 hours in the heated cab pushing it around. Really love that cab!! At least our skeeters are gone.

Had that on my neck.
No fun. Didn’t last long at the end.
Did you ask him about the Durolane
Hopefully it works for me.
We’ll see I guess. But that’s what Reardon said too, eventually a new knee. But they only last 10 years too.
Haha
Caper
Not all new knees are created equal. They have them that they give to people over 70, different ones for younger more active, and different still for athletes, the one I hope to get….🤔

Btw, the same doctor who told me that he didn’t think cortisone shots would help my knee is the one that gave them to me for my neck and I’ve been remarkably pain free up there since he did so in 2017…..🤷‍♂️

Yeah I think it didn’t help after the first one.
Heated cab sounds really good. Got a nice stereo too. Get some old Steppenwolf blasting. 😊
Get your motor running

Screw China. Haha
How was the tub. I can’t wait.
My knee isn’t too bad, but can’t walk too far. Which sucks.
Caper
Tub worked great, no leaks, and following the very specific filling/start up instructions I didn’t have airlock or need to bleed the pumps….
And I enjoyed 40 minutes pain free in that hydrotherapy of heat and weightlessness….😎

Are you wanting to run any marathons soon.
😂😂
Caper
No, but I’m far from finished with major construction projects on my properties, including the remodel of our new office building downtown Hot Springs that I’ll be working on along side the lake house deck. So, I want the toughest knee available….🤷‍♂️

Did you ask him about the Durolane
Yeah, it’s too new for him. He wants to see more data. You know all doc’s are different. I’m going to ask my PCP about it.

Thanks. Do you know anything about RFA?
My guy went in by X-ray, and it cooks the nerve. Move a mil, and do it again. Wasn’t much fun in the neck, but I’d do it again if it worked again. My problem was, I went back to work and worked my ass off. So each time was less and less time.
I had to sign because it was so dangerous to do in the neck. Last month when I saw him, he said two people had died lately in the states from Dr’s hitting the spinal cord or an artery. Blaaaaa
Not sure what he is going to do in a couple months time
