Haha. No I tore my ACL back in 89 playing ball. He scooped it in 2001, so it’s been good. Don’t know how I did it. Fixed tomorrow hopefully. How would you have done that walking the dog?

Haha. They must have seen my driveway.
I hope I’m not going to have a stroke too. Haha. Welll , I weigh around 210. I’m 6’ . I could loose 20 lbs would be nice. But since I retired, it’s hard to loose. It’s hard to walk far with the darn knee. Haha. Last fall out in Alberta with-20 temperature. I lost 10 lbs in a week. And I was eating good. Haha. I might have to start eating more salad.Hope your doctor's visit goes ok tomorrow. Before my stroke I started having a knee issue,at times when I would bend it I guess the meniscus would squirt out of the side of the joint and protrude thru the skin to the inside, my knee would hurt and semi lockup till I eventually got it straightened back out. I never went to the doctor of course but after the stroke I lost down from 210 lbs. to 155 lbs. now I don't have knee problems. Not sure if it is the weight or less activity.
Thanks MudderGood luck @Caper , been there, all better now.
I am also 6 feet tall. My stroke was a cerebellum stroke and affects my balance. I spent 46 days in ICU and rehab. They gave me a 2 percent survival rating which I fortunately overcame. My lingering effects are dizziness and nautiousness if I move around too fast or get too hot. I have a great wife who takes very good care of me.I am pretty well self sufficient and take care of all the household things less cleaning and cooking. I make the bed, load/unload the dishwasher, feed the dogs, feed and hay the horses, mow the yard, wash and dry clothes, drive though the eye doctor says I am not supposed to.The reason I had mine was high blood sugar (8.7A1C) supposed to be around 6.5 and high blood pressure. I never felt bad or dizzy I just never went to a doctor. I lost about 50 pounds.I hope I’m not going to have a stroke too. Haha. Welll , I weigh around 210. I’m 6’ . Once the knee is fixed I’ll be able to walk more. Plus we should start getting nice weather. Haha.
How did you recover after the stroke. Any lingering effects. A good friend of mine had a stroke last fall talking to his neighbor who is a cardiac Sergical nurse. Unbelievable. He got the miracle drug. He said it’s still a little hard getting thoughts out. Big he’s good. Hope it’s the same for you.
Don’t think about your health till something happens to smarten you up. Me, anyway.
I’ve got a great Dr. He’s getting ready to retire. Should be okay.
I hate not eating from midnight tonight. My opp is at 3 pm. I’m going to be starving. Haha. Maybe I’ll loose a lb or two.

Are you diabetic. Type one or two. My wife is a type one since she was 14.I am also 6 feet tall. My stroke was a cerebellum stroke and affects my balance. I spent 46 days in ICU and rehab. That’s so great to hear.As far as getting better they gave me 18 months, in that time I went from a wheelchair to a walker and shower chair to nothing at all now. They say the brain has to relearn things like balance which it has.when I first got home it was difficult to remain sitting upright without assistance, now it's like that never happened. As far as being a diabetic I take a tablet twice a day for blood sugar. I pretty much eat anything I want but only have a taste for water as far as drink. I truly believe a lot of my high A1C was attributed to my love of coke/sweet tea as I would have a large sweet tea for breakfast and a large/32oz coke or sweet tea for lunch, that is a LOT of sugar. I am a very fortunate man. I go for annual checkups now and in October my A1C was 6.3.
It’s probably not a big deal down south, but saw my first Robin today. Up here, that’s a great sign of spring.Back to weather, haha. It’s still around 40 degrees. Almost 7:00 and still light. Nice. A few flurries tomorrow. I’m done shoveling. This year.
What’s the temperature in Mississippi today ?
I can’t wait until I can go for a walk in a t shirt. Aaaaa

Praying for your recovery. Horses are some good companions, just a bit of work. Had an Arabian for years but donated to local Horse Therapy place when stopped riding. Good organization helping medical therapy, autism and handicapped kids as well as veteran trail rides. Need to attract some Martins, mosquitoes can get pesty here.I am also 6 feet tall. Thanks for the prayers. "my" horse is an Arabian guelding and is the boss. My wife has a very gentle Palomino guelding and is very easy to ride but choppy compared to the much larger Arabian. At this point they are more work than play, having to get hay and feed but it does give me exercise and something else to do. Our cat loves birds!Praying for your recovery. Lol. I’ve always been a meat an potatoes guy. So this is good for me. . Haha. My oldest daughter, the one in Cold Lake, can eat anything. Not me or my wife. Funny. She can also draw and paint. Don’t know where she got that. I can’t wait to get my bike out. After my knee gets okay.It was 58 here today with 2 inches of rain. Supposed to be 80 here in two days, then dry and mid 60's thru next Tuesday. I do ride the Pioneer and I use it to take out the trash and retrieve the trash cans which equals about 2 miles a week for the 4 trips. Our neighbor has 3 boys and a Honda 4 wheeler so we ride down the creek every so often which the wives and boys enjoy. We can ride about a mile one way if we stay in the creek. We have a lot of Martins around here and they love mosquitoes which are abundant around here with the ponds and creeks. We can sit outside or on the pier and not be bothered by mosquitoes. I personally love daylight savings time and the sun now doesn't set till after seven. Thanks for asking about my health. I do not eat leafy food. I eat green, I love fried okra, butter beans, butterpeas,English peas, green beans and that's about it. Besides cows and elephants eat leafy and look how big they are!
My dad had race horses. Standard bred. I really miss having horses. Race horses are a money pit though. A good friend in Ontario breeds horses. Right now he has 40 horses. That’s a lot of shoveling. I have a video but not sure it will load. I’ll try. Haha. I know Mudder. Nope so I’ll take a picture. Thanks for the prayers. "my" horse is an Arabian guelding and is the boss. 40 horses! Good grief that is a lot of hay and feed. We call horses hay burners around here. I had show calves and a couple of horses when I was a kid and that is why I always steered toward engines and mechanical things when I got older!View attachment 114072
