P500 What did you do to/with your Pioneer 500 today?

Picked up some pvc from Lowes this morning so I can start working on a snorkel. My toolbox and gun racks are gonna be in the way. Definatly gonna have to get creative or run it into the inside of the machine.

Hey bud, the way I ran it looks like it might miss your tool box. Can't really see the clearance on the outer roll cage though in the pics. But it looks like if you extended yours about 1 inch further out than mine it would work. There is a thread with details:

I had originally planned on doing it like yours after seeing your thread. But the tool box is as wide as the rops and there is only a 1/8" clearance with the lid open

Hauling firewood

Just got my Pioneer 500 last week. Put about 20 easy miles on it and now it's getting a workout. Hauled 6 or 7 loads of firewood up a 20 degree slope this afternoon. Handled it great.

I put a SSL BTB6 sound tube under the hood. No cutting or modification required.

Total Cost = $83 from Walmart.

I got the snorkel mostly finished up. Just need to secure it and figure out what I'm gonna do for the tip.

Also added a suicide knob, should work well with the new power steering. Really wanted to go to Windrock this weekend and try it but 100% rain for tommorow.

I have one on mine (no power steering). It's been one of the best purchases yet.

@qflyer , heck of a load, how much weight you think? A 3500 lb winch with aftermarket remote ($15) has come in handy for my tree cutting chores.

Not as heavy as it looks. Maybe 350 lbs, tops.

Didn't want mine pointing straight out or down so I cut tips at angle to give them a hood. FWIW, maybe it'll spark an idea.
