P500 What did you do to/with your Pioneer 500 today?

I’ve got tooo much crap in the box on back of the bike.
Tree straps, electronic wires, rags, some tools, squeegee, my windshield wiper for now. Nuvos, to clean the windshield, hand cleaner, Bar and socket for wheel nuts, orange tape, duct tape, gloves, fuses, shackles, winch remote, lighter, and a bunch of other little crap. And it actually has room left. Gotta clean some stuff out.

Finally did the seatbelt safety disable last night. So simple, can't believe I didn't get around to it earlier. Between that and the reverse lever override, much easier for all the quick little jaunts around the yard while working or plowing.
Next to replace the drivers solid seat belt assembly with a floppy one.

We made aqbout a 30 mile ride today on the backroads in the Ozark National Forest. All on approved trails in case big brother is watching. I was turkey scouting and the wife was along for the ride and to enjoy the late winter/early spring scenery. I found very little in the way of turkeys. We saw maybe 30 deer and a lot of real fresh hog rooting. It rained last night so it was smoking. I was unable to collect any bacon.

All 2017 or newer Pioneers (500/700/1000) has a speed limiter of 15mph if seatbelt is not done.
@JTW Started a thread on how to disable it. Since then we have come up with another way to bypass it if the seatbelts are removed to install harnesses.

Are you allowed to hunt hogs this time of year. Sign me up. No hogs up here. I’ve seen them on tv. Some get huge.

For removing a small internal piece inside the buckle to disable the speed limiter if unbuckled, like it when doing in/out chores. Still can use seat belts. Very easy. P500 - 2017 seatbelt safety disable
