P500 What did you do to/with your Pioneer 500 today?

Air filter, oil and filter, and differential fluid change. Yep, if you flip the rear skid plate over, the drain plug lines right up with the hole.

I have a 2017 500 and the holes lined up as it came from Honda. Did not have any trouble accessing the drain plug

Installed new headlight bulbs. Wanted the headlights to be more white like the LED light bar and pods I am going to install (hopefully this coming week). They are not any "brighter" than the factory bulbs but they are whiter like LED. The second pic shows the difference pretty good.

Scored these on Ebay for $20.....

Made up a platform for Kimber to sit on while we ride. It clips on to the lid of the box console. We have been taking her for rides to get her prepared for the Takeover and she seems to enjoy it!!!!

Check out @jay_man81 video on installing LED headlights. They are way brighter than the LED fog light. Unfortunately I saw the video after I had the LED fog lights.

Re-mounted the 3 gallon fuel Rotopax to the side. Since I broke that damn fuel nozzle that came with it, I no longer use it for gas but will haul a little water for a remote radiator spraying reservoir. Especially at the Takeover.

Will a regular fuel spout not work? Mice chewed my fuel pack spout, and I'm pretty sure I just used one off a gas can I had laying around.

Last week I built a front trailer hitch receiver for the P500, and built a tow hook to fit it, and a trailer hitch/ball. Yesterday I used it to put my trailer where I need it, a difficult spot, and it worked awesome!

Finished up with the plow for next season... I hope! I also mounted up two 24x36 concrete mixing tubs I found at HD for $15 ea. Just gonna make a slip cover to keep stuff semi dry.

Those mixing tubs are really handy. I bought 2 at Lowes, and drilled some holes in them, and zip tied them to the racks on on my Honda Recon to carry my chain saw, gas etc. Just snip em off if you dont need them.

Removed battery cover...mistake. I totally understand @Mudder's diagram and explanation on his thread regarding the crappy design of the P5's battery cover. Epic fail Honda...WTF!!

Nothing new to see there, he just replaced the bulb with an 881 led like many of us did years ago. They can call them fog lights, driving lights...it's all the same sh**. No brighter, just whiter.

Oh I see. Well I’ve had that in mine for years already. Nice and white but I’ve not been happy with them. Still going to go JSPEED’s route then. Just need to come up with a way to protect the back side.
