Yea we get some of that pretty white stuff about once every 2 to 3 years here in central Mississisippi. Beautiful stuff when we get to play in it for about 2 or three days before it's gone again for the next few years.
Sometimes I feel like I live down south because we've only had about 3 inch of snow this year. But I'm counting on these next two months to get alot. We will have to wait and see.

What tires you runnin'? Asking for a friend. :D
Duro Frontiers. I was running 10 PSI, probably should have only had 7. The Teryx that made it up the hill has a front locker, so he had true 4 wheel drive, while I only had 3 wheel drive. Plus he has studs in his tires, 110/tire. PLUS, he wanted that picture really badly...

:DNext time put it in four wheel drive!:D
He ran in 2 wheel drive 90% of the time, I tried and couldn't follow him in 2 wheel drive, the P500 is pretty much useless in the ice covered hills in 2wd. He got stuck on another steep hill, stopped and put it in 4wd and went all the way up. I had to stop behind him and couldn't get started again, just spun. Had to back down and hit her again.

I can get a locker, and stud my tires, but he still would have 500 lbs and 25 hp on me.

A little late night ride in the snow here in Washougal WA. Trying to figure out to upgrade to bigger tires without my wife finding out.View attachment 176865
Crap , thats easy, just tell her you aired them up, unless you use a credit card, I have been known to get a cashiers check from the bank and mail it to the vendor, expect a phone call from the millennial book keeper saying it will take a couple weeks for it to clear, DA! Told several take it to the bank and they will cash it immediately. They did and I didn't have to wait 2 weeks to get what I ordered. My personal bank account is in my pocket! Old school!

I have the locker and run Ripsaws which are not a great snow tire and have climbed hills with similar inclines or greater with more than six inches of snow. Prior to the locker I did struggle slightly with over a foot of snow! May want to invest in a better snow tire as well. I run Bighorns on the 1000 and they perform very well!

The Kawi that hauled me up the hill had Bighorns with studs, definitely better than what I had!!!

Built a rear bumper last weekend. Painted and mounted it this weekend too. Pockets on the ends are for a future canoe/kayak rack. It was busy weekend lol.

Because my rig gets stored for the winter I get restless and start tinkering. Installed the WE front shocks today. Easy project and can’t wait to take it out. I also changed the diff oil front and rear with heavier synthetic. Another super easy job. I think spring needs to get here before I’m broke. New tires and wheels, lighting, shocks, and bed modifications I’m out of money.

Decided to drop the skid plates tonight to clean all that crap out and put anti-seize on all the fasteners. Didn’t them back on yet, gonna let the rain tonight help clean all the muck off them first an let the undercarriage dry out. Wasn’t too bad, with the exception of the rear one, it had a lot of muck on it.

I need a bigger shed! Tough working in these cramped conditions. I had a 4wheeler in here too, but I let my son take that to his house to plow his driveway.

If you bolt on the Moose windshield it is not practical to unbolt it when you want to access under the hood. I bolted the straps to the cage then added some knobs for easy removal. Easy fix, it just always bugged me. That’s what I did!

I have a light bar just like the one you have. I'm having trouble finding brackets that have the bolts on the front so I can fasten it onto the bar. Where did you get yours?
