Finished the EMP windshield and metal top installation. Decided to postpone a decision on reinstalling the basket.

Bought 4 takeoff 26” tires with rims off a Foreman for $400 over the weekend.

I called mine the Goat way in advance of you joining. I was going to call it the Green goat in this last posting that I made but I knew that that would affect your screen name. I left at the green off even though my machine was green. I still have my 1000–5. Crunchy the Gnomobile. I didn’t fit in it too well in the 500 and you can only drive one so...

Ordered tires off Walmart online, of all places, free home delivery. Going to same size all around so I can rotate.

Used the P5 to pull up a cedar tree by it's roots. Course it was dead.

Put the set of takeoff Maxxis 26 MUs plus 1.5” SuperATV spacers on the P5. Took my wife for a Mothers Day ride up to the National Forest. First real ride after the EMP windshield and roof were installed. I might have been imagining it but it drove better than stock tires.

It was cool, and this is the first time I felt the engine heat on the seat. Being Montana, we liked it.

Our lab Sage is the first one in- she loves the Dusty Dawgs.



A pair of used soft doors should arrive this week.

Old Ironsides '21.
Added a couple things over this past winter, hood scoop, painted seats, under dash storage and nerfs. Two new batteries, new K&N filter, changed the gear oil in the diffs and a Honda full synthetic oil change. Did a thorough scrubbing on it today, Simple Green and a soft brush, lot of soap and water and wiping down. Finished off with some SC1, first time I've ever used it and it's the sh**! Turns the black plastics black again. It's not going to get any cleaner than this for the rest of the year so I took some glam shots.
Ready to ride.

Those are Kolpin's. No clue if they work with doors or not.

Too high for regular in/out of gear- yes. I’ve not had trouble with low tree branches in Montana.

Had some scrap laying around so made a rear rack. I use to make a living welding but being blind in one eye and not seeing too well out of the other I was not real happy with the welds. Turned out okay though I think.
